Photography has the power to transform our perceptions of the world around us. It encourages us to pause and reflect, heightening our awareness and appreciation for the beauty that surrounds us. Personally, I find photography to be a source of immense joy and inspiration, and I love sharing my work with others.

My name is Benedikt Markus, a molecular biologist by education and a passionate amateur photographer. I enjoy using visual design to communicate stories. That is why I created this website – to showcase my photographic work and share my passion for capturing life's most precious moments.

While photography is a major passion of mine, it is not my only one. I am also excited to share my past scientific research on this site. I find that science, much like photography, is a distinct and creative way of observing the world around us. Together, these two passions complement each other, and I hope that by exploring my site, you'll gain a new perspective on the world.
